Iranian Artists!!

It was very impressive for me when I hear news about two Iranian artists in one month.

At February, 12 about Hossein Alizadeh:

Hossein Alizadeh, one of the most famous Iranian musicians had a live concert with renowned Armenian instrumentalist in Iran. This year, the recording of that show was one of five Grammy Award nominees for “Best Traditional World Music.” Alizadeh, a well-known composer and a master of Persian instruments like “tar”, was nominated for Grammy three times.

At February, 17 about Reza Naji:

Reza Naji won a sliver bear prize for best actor at the Berlin International Film Festival. He had a role in “The Song of Sparrows” which is directed by a famous Iranian film director, Majid Majidi. The film is about the group of children who lose their gold fish, their happiness and sadness and he is the one who tries to soothe and relieve them. After receiving the prize, he said: “I feel so happy to overcome the world’s great super stars and make Iran famous.”

I really proud of these achivements by Iranian artistics!!
